Mülheim an der Ruhr / Munich, October 8, 2025 – It’s the little things that make everyday life easier: Since autumn 2024, ALDI SÜD customers have been able to pick up and send parcels from DPD, GLS, UPS and FedEx at selected stores using the new myflexbox parcel lockers. The parcel service is now available at 50 ALDI SÜD stores throughout the discount retailer’s sales area. And the trend is rising.
Various studies have shown that consumers value “one-stop shopping”. This means that several errands can be completed in one trip – saving not only time but also resources. With the parcel lockers at the ALDI SÜD Group, it’s easy to pick up a parcel or send a return in addition to doing the weekly shop. “We are delighted that more and more customers are using the myflexbox parcel service at our stores. Convenient access and easy handling
Customers can pick up or return their parcels at the myflexbox parcel lockers all day long. ALDI SÜD pursues the “one-stop shopping” principle
In order to make store locations particularly suitable for everyday use and therefore more attractive for customers, the ALDI SÜD Group is further developing them according to the “one-stop shopping” principle. For example, additional space is being created for restaurants, supplementary retail or offices. Where the conditions allow, the local supplier is also open to all forms of housing or creates space for daycare centers, fitness studios or mobility stations. The local supplier cooperates with a total of around 400 partner companies at over 1,300 locations – and the trend is rising. The individual mix of uses depends on building regulations, municipal requirements and local customer needs. The ALDI SÜD Group is very flexible and open when it comes to developing location concepts and potential partnerships.
