Munich, July 1, 2026 –Amazon and myflexbox are joining forces in urban parcel logistics. As part of this strategic cooperation, all myflexbox smart lockers in Germany will be integrated into Amazon’s delivery infrastructure. This means that Amazon will soon be able to deliver directly to all myflexbox locations in Germany. myflexbox is one of the first open smart locker networks of this scale to be directly accessible for Amazon deliveries in Europe.

The goal: additional, flexible delivery options for Amazon customers

Through seamless integration into existing processes, myflexbox locations are specifically incorporated into the e-commerce flow and will appear as a delivery option at the Amazon checkout. A special focus is placed on the collection process and user experience. This integration offers recipients greater efficiency and flexibility by providing more choices, as Amazon packages can be delivered directly to centrally located smart lockers accessible 24/7.

Open infrastructure for the Last Mile

This collaboration takes the carrier-neutral approach of myflexbox to a new level. The smart locker network is available to multiple logistics and retail companies simultaneously and is now being expanded to include an additional
e-commerce player. The smart city specialist thus underlines its ambition to play a decisive role in shaping the neutral infrastructure for the Last Mile in Europe.

Jonathan Grothaus, CEO & Founder of myflexbox, says: ” The fact that Amazon uses myflexbox in Germany proves the quality and scale of our myflexbox network. This is a strong signal for the future of parcel logistics. Anyone wanting to make the Last Mile more efficient needs open, shared infrastructure. That is exactly what myflexbox stands for. The fact that Amazon is integrating our network in Germany validates the path we have been on since our founding: making parcel logistics simpler, more flexible, and more resource-efficient.”

The integration also creates additional value for location partners. myflexbox locations are increasingly becoming highly relevant service points in people’s everyday lives. Whether in retail, at gas stations, in residential neighborhoods, mobility hubs, or corporate sites: open smart lockers enhance the quality of the location, bundle parcel volumes, and transform spaces into smart hubs for urban logistics.

Greater efficiency through consolidated deliveries

Delivering to central smart lockers makes delivery processes more predictable and efficient. Shipments are consolidated at easily accessible locations, repeated delivery attempts can be reduced, and Last Mile routes can be better structured. The cooperation thus also contributes to the shared goal of making parcel logistics more convenient, efficient, and sustainable.

Viraj Chatterjee, Vice President Delivery Networks & Technology at Amazon, adds: “We are continuously working to make the shopping experience even more convenient, flexible, and reliable for our customers – from click to delivery. The integration of myflexbox expands our collection options with a growing network. In one go, we are creating additional round-the-clock collection points right in the neighborhood, while jointly making the Last Mile even more efficient.”

With this cooperation, myflexbox is systematically continuing the expansion of its open infrastructure. The goal: to make smart lockers available wherever people live, work, shop, and commute. Neutral, efficient, and accessible to a wide variety of providers.
