Expansion continues to gather pace. Shortly after breaking through the 40-city mark in Germany, the Austrian smart city company myflexbox has set another record: The 800th parcel locker went into operation in the entire network (Germany and Austria). This is located in Munich at Thalkirchner Str. 154 and was set up as part of the new cooperation with Eisenbahner-Baugenossenschaft München-Hauptbahnhof eG (ebm).

The collaboration between myflexbox and ebm is based on a shared vision: the creation of sustainable and smart urban living spaces. By integrating myflexbox parcel lockers into ebm’s residential complexes, the two cooperation partners are jointly designing a future-oriented, low-emission smart city infrastructure that offers residents the highest level of living comfort and significantly improves the quality of life in the city.

From 1 to 800

The eight hundredth is a truly symbolic location. Just as myflexbox provides a whole network of connections, the three-kilometer-long Thalkirchner Straße links three Munich districts – the Glockenbachviertel, the Schlachthofviertel and Sendling. The location itself also has a connecting function as a passageway and shows how versatile and space-saving a myflexbox can be in offering additional 24/7 services in an otherwise unused space. Also noteworthy: the very first myflexbox in Germany was set up near Munich in the town of Germering at the beginning of 2023.
