The collaboration between myflexbox and ebm is based on a shared vision: the creation of sustainable and smart urban living spaces. By integrating myflexbox parcel lockers into ebm’s residential complexes, the two cooperation partners are jointly designing a future-oriented, low-emission smart city infrastructure that offers residents the highest level of living comfort and significantly improves the quality of life in the city.

From 1 to 800
The eight hundredth is a truly symbolic location. Just as myflexbox provides a whole network of connections, the three-kilometer-long Thalkirchner Straße links three Munich districts – the Glockenbachviertel, the Schlachthofviertel and Sendling. The location itself also has a connecting function as a passageway and shows how versatile and space-saving a myflexbox can be in offering additional 24/7 services in an otherwise unused space. Also noteworthy: the very first myflexbox in Germany was set up near Munich in the town of Germering at the beginning of 2023.
Win-win as a recipe for success
myflexbox creates a real win-win scenario: the everyday lives of customers, e-commerce and parcel service providers are improved thanks to easier out-of-home delivery. Convenient 24/7 storage, collection and returns options help to reduce CO₂ emissions by saving time and effort. Location partners such as housing associations or petrol station operators benefit without cost or effort. The vision of myflexbox is to create sustainable urban spaces with the highest
quality of life. Each compartment increases the efficiency of the network, and location partners actively shape the future of our cities through low-emission infrastructures that can be used by everyone.
Openness, neutrality, trust
As an integral part of the smart city infrastructure, myflexbox contributes to CO₂ reduction and promotes the use of sustainable means of transport through a dense network of parcel lockers. The open concept allows various logistics and retail partners to participate in the network, which makes efficient use of urban space. The neutrality of the platform, without the involvement of a parcel service provider, creates trust and enables the integration of numerous service providers, which is unique in Europe.

About ebm
Eisenbahner Baugenossenschaft München eG (ebm) has been offering its members affordable housing for over 115 years. It owns over 2,500 apartments in a total of 12 residential complexes in Munich and Germering. It also provides various commercial units. The focus is on maintaining and sustainably developing the housing supply – in the interests of the tenants.
About myflexbox
myflexbox is a smart city company with the aim of minimizing CO₂ emissions on the last mile throughout Europe, caused by unsuccessful doorstep deliveries and traffic chaos caused by delivery services in cities. End customers can use myflexbox 24/7 to conveniently and contactlessly receive, send and return parcels and goods. Since it was founded in 2018, the last mile specialist has established itself as the largest carrier-neutral smart locker network in the German-speaking world. The parcel lockers are an efficient 24-hour alternative to traditional parcel stores and support the megatrend of out-of-home delivery.
