Almost everyone is now familiar with parcel boxes where orders can be collected or returned. However, these are almost always closed systems and therefore tied to a specific service provider. From now on, however, there are three myflexbox contact points in Wolfsburg within the NEULAND Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH portfolio, which are used by several parcel service providers. All Wolfsburg residents can now take advantage of this service and receive their deliveries at any time.

“Finally being able to collect parcels from major service providers such as UPS, FedEx and GLS conveniently and around the clock – this is now possible at three locations in Wolfsburg. We worked together to find locations in our warehouse that are suitable and easily accessible. Together with myflexbox, we are thus ensuring that the carbon footprint is reduced while providing a significant increase in service for the people of our city. This step is worthwhile for everyone involved,” says Hans-Dieter Brand, spokesman for the NEULAND management. The network is constantly being expanded and further parcel service providers will be added in the future.

The volume of parcels has increased dramatically in recent years – but often the people ordering them are not at home when the parcel service rings. This problem causes congested streets, increasing emissions and unnecessary journeys. Customers’ needs have also changed: They want to decide for themselves when and where they receive deliveries, with the greatest possible flexibility. myflexbox provides added service value with its neutral and open smart locker network.
