Schweinfurt / Munich, July 22, 2026 – Schweinfurt is getting its first myflexbox. With the new location at Kettelerstraße 20A, hosted by partner PASE Licht- und Tontechnik GmbH, the open parcel locker network is now represented for the first time in this independent city in Lower Franconia. This provides Schweinfurt with a new digital infrastructure for everyday package receipt, shipping, and returns. Available around the clock, easy to use, and open to multiple package delivery services.

The city is the regional hub of the Main-Rhön region, an important employment center, and a hub for education, culture, healthcare, and shopping for many people in the region. It is precisely in places like this that open parcel lockers prove particularly valuable: they consolidate package routes where people live, work, shop, or are already on the go.

A carrier-neutral parcel locker for everyday life

At the new myflexbox, users can conveniently receive, send, and return packages. This currently includes package services from DPD, GLS, UPS, and FedEx. In addition, Amazon recently joined the network. As part of this strategic partnership, all myflexbox parcel lockers in Germany will be integrated into Amazon’s delivery infrastructure. This means Amazon will be able to deliver directly to all German myflexbox locations in the future.

The service is digital and intuitive. After delivery, recipients receive a notification from the respective package service and can flexibly pick up their shipment at the station. Returns and shipments can also be dropped off regardless of traditional business hours.

The station is connected to the open myflexbox network, which links multiple package delivery services, e-commerce applications, and other services via a shared infrastructure. In this way, myflexbox deliberately distinguishes itself from isolated solutions offered by individual providers: a single station can be used by multiple partners, thereby increasing efficiency per location.

Smart Urban Logistics

Open parcel lockers help reduce failed delivery attempts, consolidate package flows, and avoid unnecessary trips during the last mile. This infrastructure is becoming increasingly important, especially in cities and regional centers.
