Vienna / Salzburg / Munich, October 9, 2025 – Just a few months after the official launch, the intelligent locker solutions from myflexbox have already been integrated into more than 50 Storebox locations in central German cities. And this is just the beginning; the pioneering last-mile cooperation will grow to 160 locations by the end of the year.
New standards for the last mile
At the heart of the cooperation is the intelligent connection of two infrastructure networks: the dense Storebox network of urban and suburban self-storage locations and the myflexbox parcel locker network, which is open to all providers. This joining of forces creates the densest, intelligently networked self-storage and parcel network in the German-speaking world – a milestone for modern city logistics.
Cooperation is already having an impact on the market: “Not a pilot project, but a real rollout”
“We’re not talking about strategies or pilot projects here, but a real rollout,” says Jonathan Grothaus, CEO & Founder of myflexbox. “With each expansion step, we are gaining strategically valuable locations in urban areas. This and the bundling of parcel services – currently GLS, DPD, UPS and FedEx in Germany – make the network so attractive for customers. The cooperation gives us additional valuable city logistics potential for the future.”
Storebox CEO Johannes Braith adds: “This partnership creates the largest last-mile logistics collaboration in the DACH region. Two companies anchored in Austria are joining forces to bring a real alternative to established shipping services to Germany. We are showing that innovation and competitiveness do not have to come from international corporations, but also from smart, digitally driven pioneers from Austria.”

Shared vision
Over 160 parcel lockers at Storebox locations in Germany and Austria will be integrated into the myflexbox network by the end of the year. Further expansion steps are already planned for 2026. This will make urban zones with good transport connections and therefore entire city districts smarter, more efficient and more sustainably connected. For customers, this means maximum flexibility and service diversity, self-storage and parcel services in one place, accessible anytime and anywhere.
