• Westfalen and myflexbox Launch Partnership
• Already 19 locations in three federal states are in operation, with another 10 in the works
• Flexible parcel pickup, shipping, and returns at mobility hubs: Gas stations are becoming service hubs

Gelsenkirchen / Munich, September 28, 2026 – The Westfalen Group and myflexbox are collaborating to expand the last-mile specialist’s open parcel infrastructure in Germany. There are already 19 parcel lockers in operation at Westfalen Group locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and Hesse. Another 10 facilities are currently in the implementation phase.

Convenient Out-of-Home Services

Through this partnership, both companies are creating additional access points for flexible parcel services at locations visited by large numbers of people every day. The combination of a gas station, local retail, and a parcel locker enables customers to receive, send, or return parcels around the clock, conveniently as part of their already planned routes (so-called “trip chaining”).

Mobility Hub Meets Last-Mile Hub

The new locations also contribute to more efficient and sustainable delivery processes. By consolidating deliveries currently handled by DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx, and Amazon, delivery routes can be optimized and multiple door-to-door deliveries avoided. This increases the first-time delivery success rate and reduces urban traffic congestion. For Westfalen, this service complements the existing infrastructure at these locations by providing additional value for customers.
