Just recently, myflexbox, the largest smart locker network in the German-speaking world, announced that more than 500 parcel lockers are live in its network. Now comes the next big news: the company is presenting itself with a new corporate design, thereby sharpening its positioning on the market. The aim is for the company’s strategic orientation to be reflected in its appearance.
Since its foundation in 2018, during which myflexbox has experienced varied, successful and above all exciting years, there has been a strong focus on positioning the company with a corresponding corporate design in recent months. The name and product remain the same, but the positioning, tonality and design of the company have been adapted to the smart city context in which myflexbox operates. This re-launch supports the mission to build efficient and climate-neutral logistics infrastructure in Europe’s cities. In addition to the massive growth course, especially in Germany, myflexbox will have managed to be present in more than 20 German and Austrian (major) cities by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
myflexbox has once again taken a close look at its own brand essence, observed internal and external influences and used these to create the optimal alignment. The new logo clearly stands for the core of the company: the intelligent logistics infrastructure and the associated locations. At the same time, the company makes reference to the letter X, which appears twice in the name, thus also demonstrating the open network concept. The new color underlines the technology and the provider-independent platform. The appearance of myflexbox has thus also been adapted to the current market phase in which the company finds itself. The existing parcel lockers will retain their current design, while all new locations will of course be given the new design. Nothing else will change for myflexbox partners and customers.
“Today is a very special moment for all myflexbox employees, especially for those who have worked so hard on our new look and feel over the past few months,” says Sabrina Wurzer, Head of Marketing & Communications at myflexbox. “We are using an important tool here to increase our brand awareness, drive forward the expansion of our open Smart Locker network and position ourselves clearly and distinctly from our competitors in the market.”
myflexbox bundles the parcel services of the largest parcel service providers in Europe at just one central parcel locker. Customers thus benefit from an efficient 24-hour alternative to traditional parcel stores. This concept makes it possible to collect or return shipments from different parcel service providers. Consumers can arrange for shipments to be sent directly to or redirected to a myflexbox at the parcel service providers or when checking out from online stores.
There are currently 462 myflexbox parcel lockers in Austria and 63 in Germany, and the network will grow to around 4,000 parcel lockers in German-speaking countries by the end of 2025.
myflexbox is a smart city company with the aim of minimizing CO₂ emissions on the last mile throughout Europe, caused by unsuccessful doorstep deliveries and traffic chaos caused by delivery services in cities. End customers can use myflexbox 24/7 to conveniently and contactlessly receive, send and return parcels and goods. Since it was founded in 2018, the last mile specialist has established itself as the largest carrier-neutral smart locker network in the German-speaking world. The parcel lockers are an efficient 24-hour alternative to traditional parcel stores and support the megatrend of out-of-home delivery.
