Berlin / Munich, July 14, 2026 – myflexbox, the largest network of open parcel lockers in the DACH region, is expanding its network coverage in collaboration with its new partner, Berlinovo Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH (berlinovo). The myflexboxes have already been put into operation in Berlin at the locations Klüberstraße 25, Ehrlichstraße, and Pionierstraße, and five additional locations in the berlinovo neighborhoods are in the planning stages. The expansion in the German capital is moving forward: A total of 176 smart myflexboxes are already in place there (as of July 2026).
The Perfect Partner
As a modern real estate company with approximately 33,000 rental units, berlinovo plays an important role in the Berlin housing market. On behalf of the State of Berlin, berlinovo builds, rents, and manages affordable and sustainable housing—primarily for target groups such as students, seniors, and employees of state-owned companies. The company sees itself 100 percent as a service provider for the people. myflexbox is particularly pleased about this collaboration, not least because the two companies’ visions and values align closely. berlinovo’s motto, “For Berlin,” fits perfectly with the portfolio of the last-mile infrastructure provider.
Innovative Solution for Modern Urban Logistics
myflexbox offers an innovative and sustainable solution to the challenges of urban logistics, such as in residential neighborhoods. The parcel lockers reduce delivery traffic and improve cities’ environmental footprint. The “smart lockers” connect and consolidate multiple package delivery services, such as DPD, GLS, UPS, and FedEx. In addition, Amazon recently joined the network. As part of the strategic partnership, all myflexbox parcel lockers in Germany will be integrated into Amazon’s delivery infrastructure. This means that Amazon will be able to deliver directly to all German myflexbox locations in the future. As a result, not only tenants and residents but all Berliners will have secure, contactless, and convenient access to a wide range of 24/7 package services, such as pickup, shipping, and returns. This increases efficiency on the first and last mile.
Revolutionary Infrastructure
By implementing myflexbox, berlinovo is making a significant contribution to sustainability and to improving the quality of life in residential areas. The smart parcel lockers reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 75% compared to traditional doorstep deliveries and save up to 2.2 metric tons of CO₂ per locker annually. This contributes to climate goals and supports myflexbox’s vision for more livable neighborhoods.
“Collaborating with one of Berlin’s largest real estate asset managers is a major milestone for us,” says Jonathan Grothaus, CEO & Founder of myflexbox. “We’re delighted to have berlinovo by our side as a strong partner and driver of sustainable urban development. Together, we’re setting an example for climate-friendly and efficient urban logistics. Residents benefit from maximum flexibility and improved service, while we simultaneously make an important contribution to environmental protection. Our growth shows that we’re on the right track.”
Constanze Dühring, Head of Real Estate Management for Apartments/Residential at berlinovo, adds: “berlinovo’s primary goal is to create livable residential neighborhoods. This makes needs-based, service-oriented solutions for our tenants all the more important. This includes the myflexbox parcel lockers. With them, packages can not only be received quickly and easily on-site around the clock, but also sent or returned. The advantages are clear: shorter distances and less traffic help improve the quality of life and reduce our environmental footprint. That’s why we plan to expand this myflexbox service across all our existing and new developments. Additional potential locations in Berlin that are being considered for installation are already under review.”

Network Density for Sustainability and Quality of Life
The more parcel lockers there are, the shorter the distances. Further reducing the so-called “slipper radius” minimizes the distance to recipients’ homes, thereby increasing acceptance of parcel lockers. This reduces the number of delivery trips, eases traffic congestion, and significantly lowers CO₂ emissions. The parcel lockers are strategically located in easily accessible places such as residential areas, gas stations, and (grocery) retail stores to facilitate access and maximize convenience.
