Aschaffenburg / Munich, March 4, 2026 – myflexbox’s carrier-neutral parcel locker network is taking another strategic step together with DPD Germany: with immediate effect, the parcel service provider is renting fixed compartments flexibly and on a long-term basis in line with demand, thus further expanding its range of services at German locations. This expansion marks a further strengthening of the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
Holistic parcel experience
The focus is on customer-oriented flexibility: the fixed locker rental strengthens the holistic parcel experience for myflexbox users in general and DPD customers in particular. DPD thus strengthens its presence in core markets, increases predictability and can guarantee capacity for its consignees and senders.
In the myflexbox parcel lockers the services of currently four parcel services can be conveniently used without waiting times or opening hours: collection, shipping, returns and redirection. This means that deliveries are bundled at central locations, reducing doorstep deliveries and thus distances, which relieves the burden, particularly in residential areas and heavily frequented locations.

First partner in the DACH region
The cooperation with DPD is of particular importance to myflexbox: DPD was the first parcel service to use the myflexbox network in Austria and has thus made a significant contribution to the development of an open out-of-home infrastructure in the DACH region. The expanded cooperation in Germany builds on this joint success story and will also combine the expertise of both partners in the future.
For myflexbox, this is a further milestone in the expansion of a neutral, scalable parcel system that is open to all logistics partners and retail companies and offers people maximum freedom of choice.
Jonathan Grothaus, CEO & Founder myflexbox: “DPD has been a partner from the very beginning and a key driver of our open infrastructure in Germany. From the very beginning, they have believed in the strength of a provider-open system. With the expanded cooperation we are rescaling the last mile in Germany, with more network density, more efficiency and a clear customer focus. We are increasing the predictability of logistics and sending a clear signal: the future of out-of-home is neutral, based on partnership and consistently geared towards people’s needs.”
Michael Knaupe, Chief Customer Experience & Business Development Officer at DPD Germany: “We are delighted to further intensify our cooperation with myflexbox. The long-term rental of fixed compartments opens up new opportunities for us to strategically expand our parcel locker services. A dense and user-friendly parcel network plays a decisive role, especially in times of growing demands for flexibility and convenience for recipients. Together with myflexbox, we are setting further standards for a modern parcel business.”
