Vienna, October 10, 2024 – Federal Express Corporation, the world’s largest express transportation company, is offering private customers in Austria even more flexibility and convenience when shipping parcels. The company has expanded its cooperation with myflexbox, the operator of the largest open smart locker network in German-speaking countries.

Until now, FedEx customers have been able to have their shipments delivered to one of myflexbox’s 550 parcel lockers in Austria on request. Now they can also send and return their parcels via the myflexbox parcel lockers.

The shipping and returns process is uncomplicated and fast. Customers take their parcels marked with a FedEx label to any myflexbox, scan the label or enter a code, follow the instructions on the screen and then place the parcel in a locker at the relevant parcel locker.

Parcels with dimensions of up to 37cm x 41cm x 61cm, a maximum weight of 20 kilograms and originating from Austria are eligible for the parcel locker shipping and returns option. The value of the goods must not exceed 1000 euros. Dangerous goods shipments are excluded.

FedEx pursues a focused approach in the e-commerce segment. The company now offers access to a network of over 40,000 out-of-home locations throughout Europe.
