The largest carrier-neutral Smart Locker network in the German-speaking region continues to expand its presence: myflexbox and its new cooperation partner Retail Match GmbH are celebrating the installation of the 900th parcel locker in the entire network. Like over 40 percent of all myflexboxes, it is now located in Germany. Retail Match is supporting this expansion by providing locations at its retail properties.

Munich, October 14, 2024 – The Jubiläumslocker is located at Morsestraße 1 in 85716 Unterschleißheim and is another building block for urban living spaces with a higher quality of life. The cooperation combines the advantages of an open and neutral smart locker system, which is a real win-win situation for everyone involved: Users benefit from flexible and secure 24/7 parcel services, location partners receive a cost-neutral additional service offering, while cities, residential areas and the environment are relieved by optimized logistics processes.

Innovative network

The smart infrastructure solution from myflexbox offers maximum flexibility thanks to the ability to receive, send, return and redirect parcels from multiple parcel service providers around the clock in a contactless, secure and convenient way. The almost one hundred percent delivery success reduces traffic volumes, CO₂ emissions and unnecessary delivery trips. Parcel services can work more efficiently, which not only benefits the service providers, but also the environment. According to a study, it is possible to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 75% compared to door-to-door deliveries.
