The sustainability award was presented by the news channel ntv, DUP UNTERNEHMER and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and honors outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable service and mobility logistics. 342 companies and their projects were nominated.
Sustainability meets neutrality
Responsible use of limited resources, shaping a sustainable society and promoting social justice are becoming increasingly important with regard to the economic transformation of all sectors. The award for an outstanding role in promoting climate-friendly urban logistics solutions shows that myflexbox is taking this development into account to the highest degree. As a pioneer and leading provider of neutral, independent and inclusive infrastructure for the last mile, the company relies on state-of-the-art technology and maximum user convenience. The neutrality towards the integrated parcel service partners creates a strong basis of trust for good cooperation and efficient processes. The recent achievement of the 40-city mark in Germany is a clear sign of the need for open logistics networks in smart cities and in cities on the way there.
Jonathan Grothaus, Co-CEO and Founder at myflexbox, emphasizes: “We are convinced that provider-independent solutions operated by a neutral third party are the key to success. This is the only way we can exploit the full potential of smart city logistics and make a significant contribution to sustainability. This award confirms our approach and motivates us to continue moving forward at full speed.”
Lukas Wieser, Co-CEO and Founder of myflexbox, adds: “We are proud to already be represented in 40 German cities and thus make a significant contribution to sustainable urban development. The award motivates us to further expand our network, which is cost-neutral for location partners, and to improve the quality of life in urban areas, e.g. residential districts.”
The German Award for Sustainability Projects 2024 reinforces myflexbox’s mission to make cities more liveable and flexible – digitalized, climate-friendly and health-conscious.
