With myflexbox, parcels can be delivered contactlessly and valuables and products can also be stored. The system, which is accessible 24/7, is completely independent of Lidl and can be used by any retailer. They can not only use it to deliver parcels, but also to accept returns.

With myflexbox, parcels can be delivered contactlessly and valuables and products can also be stored. The system, which is accessible 24/7, is completely independent of Lidl and can be used by any retailer. They can not only use it to deliver parcels, but also to accept returns.

Lidl itself does not yet use myflexbox, as it does not yet have its own online store for Austria. However, as a partner of Salzburg AG, the discount retailer is making its parking spaces accessible to delivery and collection staff outside of opening hours, among other things. “We are in a time of constant change, and it is important not only to adapt, but also to think ahead. As an innovative retail company in Austria, we want to use myflexbox to provide our customers with a sustainable and environmentally friendly service and make their everyday lives easier,” explains Alessandro Wolf, Chairman of the Lidl Management Board.

According to Leonhard Schitter, CEO of Salzburg AG, the new system not only saves time and stress, but also has a positive effect on the CO2 balance. “With the myflexbox, we are not only taking a step towards sustainability, in times like these we are also supporting the current Covid safety measures through contactless handover.”
